Visiting my old hometown, the place where I grew up...
I haven't visited Langkat for about 5 years. It's another 1 and 1/2 hour drive out from Medan. I'm glad my parents made an arrangement for us to go down. Hubby even claimed it was his most fruitful day throughout this holiday!
Too bad our old house was being reconstructed, else I'd be so delighted to bring hubby and Chloe tour around the house, and tell stories of how I spent 17 years of my life there!
Just before we drove back to Medan, we had seafood lunch by the river!
The kampung way really!
