Hello Again, KL!

Chloe's Birthday Trip Day 3, 17th Oct 2008

We traveled almost an hour by taxi from Genting Highland to Kuala Lumpur. Taxi fare cost us RM 80, the cheapest we could find among other sleazy taxi drivers uncles.

This time we're staying at Boulevard Hotel. A 4-star hotel that is connected to one of the shopping heaven in KL, Mid Valley Megamall. We really like the fact that the hotel is new, for more hygiene purpose :) Most staffs are polite and friendly, plus the wide variety of breakfast (although hubby disagree with me on this).

This KL trip also allowed us to gather with my family. It's great to see my Dad, Mum, Bro, Sis-in-law and niece, Jazeline again. In fact, a lot of my relatives were there too to attend my cousin's wedding.

First thing first, after checking in to our hotel room, we went hunting for food at Megamall. Shopped a little while, and spotted this slide in front of Toys R Us store.

In the evening, we gathered with the big family to have dinner at Esquire Kitchen (so-so Chinese restaurant that the Medanese loved!). There Chloe joined us to have rice with soup.
Yum.. Yum...

After dinner, we resumed the window shopping and went to The Gardens for more sightseeing. It's an 'atas' (hi-class) shopping mall and residential connected to Megamall. Branded shops, Isetan and Robinsons were one of them...

The super-nanny in training :P

We walked back to Megamall again to have some dessert before we ended the night. This might be the last family portrait we took during the trip, so pathetic! And Chloe wasn't even focusing on the camera!

For she was eyeing the Haagen-Dazs ice cream that my Mum and SIL were enjoying! tsk, tsk, tsk...
