Ended a sweet weekend with yummy love by the man. He was posed by a request by his daughter to cook 'Mother's Day Moodle' for me.
Chloe's request just came in time. I knew he won't do it if I asked him directly :p
So the 'moodle' warmth the stomach and the heart. Then we spent good family time a lil while with the kids, before he let me choose a movie to watch tonight.
Alright, so I decided to play 'P.S. I Love You' which has never been watched before. I heard it was really romantic show with lots of lovey dovey stuff..
The movie ended up making me crying in almost every scene. It was touching and heartbreaking at the same time. Lesson learnt from the movie is to cherish every moment, every single moment with your loved ones, and to live your life to the fullest like there's no tomorrow.
P.S. Go watch it if you haven't done so, and you would understand how I feel now..
And here's to a better us, better each and everyday! Cheers...
*Last added: Just recalled Chloe said something funny on Mother's day as well. Andy asked Chloe if she had to choose her most favourite love, rather than answering love both Papa and Mama. Chloe gave an answer, "I love Mama most, because today is Mother's Day!"
ah my sweet daughter :)

Family Visits | Oct 2011 — Part 2
It's my first time writing the blog from the new Blogger.
And this new white interface looks really soothing to the eyes. I hope to find time to update my primadaily theme as well...
Back to the family visiting photos in Oct 2011, here are a few more favourites...
Day 4 — bidding goodbye to the SkyPark..

A photo with Gong Gong

Day 5 evening — experiencing the MRT (real tourits-like!)

Months before the train breakdown booboo,
look how much (pole-dancing) fun the kids had during the ride...

*We are cousins!*

Family Visits | Oct 2011 — Part 1
This is a quick post on the Family Visit back in last October. I had carefully picked the photos to sum up our first 3 day activities. I hope you would enjoy the photos as much as they bring back the good memories to me!
Our day 1 activity — Singapore flyer!

An experience like never before, on board with my family!

Day 2 activity — Praying, Shopping and Coffee at Bugis area

Day 3 — checkin' in to MBS, woohoo!
The Grand room was simply awesome!!

Cruisin' around like tourists...

Our first heavenly experience at TWG!

Serious dippin' and soakin' under the afternoon sun at the SkyPark.

Dinner at Lao Pa Sat. Andy exclaimed, "Oh, we could really EAT!"

Well, that's not all, 'cos we headed to Temple St. for more desserts :)

And the extra sugar really acted on the children that night!!
(See monkey, superman and supergirl wannabe in the photo?? Haha!)

Transformational 1st Quarter
It seems that this has been developed to a habit. A bad habit that I can't go to bed easily every Sunday night!
And what's worse, with a headache and a constipated tummy, I'm actually taking this time to penning down my thoughts..
It somehow worked, if you read the nightmare post...
The holiday last month to Ho Chi Minh and back home to Medan, plus my post-LASIK break, summed up to a very short February..
Now doing the reality check, it's the time to take my career to a greater height. The time to fill in what's been missing in the past years. The time to make right what went wrong.
I wanna be a wiser me, and a better me!! Jiayou, me!!!
Ok now the sleepiness kicks in... Have a good, sweet, week ahead peeps!!

Nightmare
Woke up at 2am with cold sweat! I was having a dream and I laid my hand on my right eye and started to rub.
One stroke to the right,..
And half stroke to the left...
Luckily I woke up immediately at that moment..
Phew.. That's so dangerous especially it was written in the 'healing guidelines' that no touching or rubbing the eyes within the first month of the surgery.
Please, no more itchy hands and eyes!
And more peaceful nights please.. I think I have been waking up every midnight since the surgery. Not sure if they are just so coincidence or somehow related.
To flash back on the day, everything zoomed fast like a dream. The most torturing part for me was when the surgeon tried to attach the cornea ring to my eyes to make the eyeball stay put. It took only 1 attempt on the right eye, but 3rd attempt on the left eye. I remembered my eye was tearing like mad during the attaching and de-attaching attempts!
That's the cause of my 'blue back' on my eyes (red circle marks which show more prominently on the left eye). Maybe my eyes were not relaxed enough, maybe my eyes were too small? The surgeon told me these side effects will show up on 'some' of the patients. I was too lucky to be that 'someone'.
The savior of the day, has gotta be the 2 stress balls that the nurse provided once I stepped into the op room. I think that's such a brilliant idea! Told Andy about this, and he didn't recall he was given them when he did his LASIK op in 2008. I clearly see these would serve a great relief for mummies who are on the delivery suites too. Haha! Or maybe the daddies are still the best companion to let mummies grabbed, pulled, scratched, squeezed and screamed at? :p
What do u think?
I hope after penning down all these thoughts, it will help me in better sleeps the following nights...
And sorry, if this post let you have a second thoughts to do your LASIK op. Trust me, the after op is really priceless. Just bear with the discomforts for 10 minutes. And pop in the sleeping pills as instructed once you got home for the first night.
