Lovely Catch Up

I got lovely company when I took leave last week for Bosco's vaccination.

It's En Jie and his mummy who always make themselves available to meet us.

This round we had a more enjoyable catch up as Chloe was behaving well.
She enjoyed playing with En Jie as much when her 'lil bro was taking his nap.

And loved him to bits too :)

En Jie had to return the kisses back :P

En Jie and I were in green stripes!

At last, Bosco woke up to join the fun!

And yes, stripes bodysuit looked so cool on them :)

En Jie admired Bosco's round head, nose and cheek!

Oh, and lips too! *smack*

Oh, here's another laughing video captured!

She Did It

Chloe woke up at 7am this morning and followed my path to the toilet, "要小便,要小便," she urged!

After taking off her diaper for her, I realized she didn't wet it at all. Wow! I'm impressed.

I don't want to rush into this, I hope she enjoys her sleep as usual.

Will see again tonight!

Silly Laugh

My 5-mth-old boy really loves to Laugh Out Loud.
Hillarious and Contagious!

I'm so happy to see the kids love and accept each other well too :)

Jurong West Eat-and-Play Date

Last week (30.01.10) , Cherie and I were invited to Jas' house for a 'humble 家常便饭 lunchie' - as quoted by her. And we know she lied about that. Wonder mummy put on her cooking hat and whipped up an irresistible chicken rice plus steamboat. We were so lucky to enjoy a sumptuous meal at her warm, cosy house!

Of course, there was a playdate involved too! There was Dayan and Danson, Chloe and Bosco, plus Adrienne and her didi (who is still in his mummy's tummy).

Wokay, pictures time:

Dayan, Chloe and Adrienne – standing together

...and lying together (?!)

Hugging her friends tight

Bosco can only watch the fun

Lastly, snugly sitting on auntie Jas' lap :)

Thanks to Auntie Jas, now Chloe and Bosco have a nice playyard!

Small Business. Big Business.

Chloe started being toilet-trained by my mum last year October. In December, she started go diaperless at home – but poo poo accidents happened here and there.

Come January 2010, all businesses were done in either her potty or at the toilet (with the help of the booster seat). No diaper needed for afternoon nap as well, monitored by her granny. I started to bring her along to the ladies too when we were outside.

Over the weekend, Chloe did a really good job by holding her urine and told me she wanna go toilet! I'm so proud of her. Her 'outing' diaper (that's what I call it, diaper for outings!) was not wet at all. It's a funny sight to see her running to her potty and citing, "Chloe要小便,要小便" upon reaching home.

Next milestone, to go diaperless at night! Hmm..
Will update again when we accomplish this one.

Let's Get The Engine Started

So glad to practise driving this morning with my personal trainer. 20mins at spacious area to build up my long lost confidence, then drove back home.

It feels really good. I hope to master driving soon. Yes!

15mins to cut a cake?!

That was our bad experience at nydc Bugis this afternoon.

We waited for 15 mins for our black forest cake to be served after our main courses. Asked the waiter to check the order, he replied me happily, "Since it's a new cake, we're taking more time to cut the cake."

Upon seeing my disappointed face, he added on, "It's a very delicate cake. Could you wait 1 more minute?" Seriously, what the (?!?!)

We cancelled the order and made payment to leave immediately. Nobody bothered to apologize at all!!

NYDC? Never Again!!

Tokumika 得味香

A few weeks back, we were out in the Upper Serangoon area installing this and that to the new ride. The technician took longer than estimated, and we had to settle our hungry stomachs in the vicinity.

Though I work nearby, I really couldn't think of any nice, baby-friendly place (think air-conditioned and big space for the stroller) to go. Then we spotted this Japanese restaurant along the stretch of the shop houses between Boundary Road and Yio Chu Kang Road. My sense of direction is bad, maybe you could think of where emicakes is.

To our surprise, this place serves really fresh sashimi and authentic Japanese delicacies – at an affordable price. Shall give it a try!

And they are really friendly to offer taking this pic for me :)

Found the name card of the restaurant!
