8 Months Cutesie

The 8 month old is continuosly bringing us joy and surprises:
- he has learned to crawl (commando style)
- he will choose for certain favourites to carry and cuddle him
- the pure bonding between me and him is so inseparable, all thanks to exclusive breastfeeding
- and I just hinted his most favourite person is his mama, me! Hehe
- he learns to fussy over toys as well
- he is the new iPhone junkie in the house
- he is shouting loud and clear for things that don't go his way
- his 'bo gey' smile simply melt each one of us

Can't get enough of his chubby chub chub cuddles!!

I love preparing the dishes for my loved ones! It's pure satisfaction when I see Andy and Chloe concentrate and clear their meals fast.

Happiness doubles when Chloe keeps repeating,
"Hmmm.. Nice! Nice!" *thumbs up*

Dora Hair Cut

Some of you might have read this on my fb page. It was time for hair trimming last weekend. Tried a few times to persuade Chloe to go for haircut in vain. Then this smart Mama *ahem* thought of a way to attract her to the salon.

In summary, Chloe then brought Dora's DVD along to the salon and told the stylist, "Uncle, please have my hair cut like Dora!"

So, this is Chloe, after the hair cut.

Looking like Dora or not, she knows we just love her to bits! Muackss!!

Oh to add on, sometimes she would mention that, "I'm so pretty with Dora's haircut now.. Mama also very pretty now with Dora's haircut!"

omg. hahaha!!

The Battle Of Milk

My initial plan was to breastfeed til Bosco is 1 year old. But the lack of self-discipline-me psycho-ed myself that I have at least met the 6 months benchmark.

My supply was dropping drastically since I stopped pumping at work. Ah well, "Time to wean", I told myself. I then gave myself some pats on the back and moved on to open the 1st tin of Formula Milk.

This is my after-work pump every weekdays evening.

And that's really the results of the left and right pump each.
No joke. They are lopsided now -.-

So, we started to supplement Mamil Gold to Bosco last week. But Bosco doesn't really like the taste of it. On and off, he takes 1 feed per day. Smart boy would rather wait for me to come back from work and feed him, instead of finishing his formula milk.

With great persistence, Bosco's grandma has been preparing porridge by trying different ingredients to best entice her little darling. Sweet potato. out! Pumpkin. too sweet! fish. eeermmmm...

Afterall, Bosco likes it plain. He loves the plain porridge which was double boiled with pork ribs. So yes, he has 2 feeds of the porridge every day, with that pathetic amount of breastmilk while I am at work. For the rest of the night, at least 2x latch-on to keep him full.

Whatever keeps him happy, really!

So, the milk battles and solid saga continues.
I really hope it to be a 'wean-win' situation.

Chloe is officially 2 and a half years old today. Mama only has the time to do quick post during my toilet break now. Sshhh...

Fun At Yips'

We spent a lovely afternoon last Saturday at Yips'. Fun, food and games for the kids and adults. Would certainly love to have routine gatherings like this in future :)
