The Coconut City, Haikou
The weather has taken its toll on Haikou too. The coconut city 椰城 Haikou 海口 was cold, misty and foggy during our visit. The city was larger and more crowded than I expected, but it's not a great place to shop.

From Singapore to Haikou
The CNY holiday started when the 8 of us (6 adults, 1 kid and 1 toddler) got up as early as 3am on 22nd Jan. Our direct flight to Haikou, Hainan Island China was at 6.30 am via Tiger Airway. We settled our early breakfast at budget terminal and managed to take some pictures with Mickey & Minnie too.
I think the deco at budget terminal certainly beats the one at T3.
And the play area was interesting too, for a 'budget' terminal :P

It took us 3 hours to reach Haikou Meilan International Airport, with the local weather at 18deg C. Still OK for hubby and I to leave the jackets in the bag.

Away For Holiday
I've finished packing.. and I'm so ready to go!!! Woohooo!
The Lims will be away for one week holiday.
Will miss you all! Be good :)
8 weeks
Haven't been updated about my pregnancy for the past week. I have been pretty weak, caught a flu, a fever then the morning sickness is sticking to me like my best friend.
I have also suffered from computer/blogs withdrawal. I have no inspirations to write. I can't focus. I dunno what to write.. I get dizzy by the screens if i stare long enough.
But Facebook's Pet Society is my best companion right now. My pet King Kong cheers me up every time I login to play.
I have weird appetites. I don't know what I really like sometimes. Food that used to be my favourites (also those I love when I was expecting Chloe), like bread, milk, milo has now turned to be my most against food.
Roti prata and oranges makes me happy. Bean sprouts is naturally picked when I buy mixed rice & vege. And I never love bean sprouts so much in my life!
I am a light sleeper now. Thankfully, Chloe is starting to sleep through the nights. But there are some of the nights when she went to sleep early, without her milk, she would still wake up for her midnight feed. Just like now. I have been awake since 3.30am and am still blogging away at 4.45am.
And lastly, the trip is tomorrow morning. I'm excited yet worried if I can cope well. I hope I can. Hubby has learned to help out in many ways since I tested positive. He is now bathing Chloe without my supervision! Woohoo :)
Ok. I think it's time to get back to sleep...

Happy Anniversary To Us!

It's our 2 years wedding anniversary today. And that simple message from hubby made me broke into tears.
The initial celebration plan was a romantic getaway somewhere out of the island (Sentosa maybe?) But how to be romantic when you have a tod tagging along? Then it was simplified to a weekend dining. And then now it's Tuesday. No romantic dining either during the weekend. We were busy running errands and preparing for our trip this coming Thursday. Plus I have been unwell since last week. Phew... Do I sound like i'm excusing ourselves?
Seriously, I think by being together, spending the day off together is part of the celebration already. I have always count myself lucky to be married to him :) Celebrating the anniversary spending a bomb is not going to make any difference to our marriage.
What matters most is the 3 of us are happy, loving and are still crazy in love :*

16.01.2009 * 15 mths now!
Happy 15mths old baby!
Although you're getting more naughty and manja, I still love you to bits! Especially when you run to the front door every night to welcome Mama and Papa home. Then there's the bao bao and the kiss kiss you give just to me (Yes!) alone. How can one's heart not be melted?

ps. But I still gotta showcase this little clip of you throwing tantrums at home lah. Muach!

RSF Family Day At Sentosa
Last Sunday was our first time to visit Sentosa with Chloe. Something I've very much looked forward to. My face said it all upon reaching Sentosa. But the sleepy baby didn't seem to like the idea to be under the sun!
There were total about 10 cars/family that came on that day. Too bad there wasn't any group photo. I was carrying 9 mth old Wei Jie on below pic (isn't he so adorable?), while Chloe was being passed around.
Then the 'fun' part began when hubby and I proceeded to the beach, hoping that Chloe would love it as well. Poor girl was screaming once her feet touched the sand. She hated it so much that every single sand must be cleared away from her feet.
Not even walking (with sandals) on the sand! -___-||
So we had to give up on the idea and spent the rest of the day the usual way, photos taking and let Chloe roamed free. Although I must say it helped me to relax a bit, knowing that she would not have the guts to move too far to the beach hehe

小可爱 Says Hello!
Hello all. Have been slow with blog. No, not because of FB's Pet Society lah! :P
I have been trying hard to find time to blog to no avail. Past few nights, Chloe didn't sleep very well, she had nightmares and cried uncontrollably each night. Thankfully, the nightmare is gone, and she managed to sleep soundly last night. I'll update in a while, I'm still going through lack of sleep and having headaches at work... Have a lovely week everyone!

6 Weeks And 3 Days
It was such a long wait at ACJ Women Clinic today, about an hour and 15 mins wait..(phew!)
Finally get to see Dr Adrian's reassuring face and proceeded to scanning without further delay.
Anxious and excited, I saw baby's heartbeat at one glance. It's getting clearer as gynae zoomed in.. There, I roughly got my answer... (I remember vividly how I first saw Chloe's heartbeat when she's 7 weeks in my tummy)
The estimated week by the ultrasound scan was 6 weeks and 3 days, hence the EDD of 1st September 2009.
It's such a relief after the visit today. Gynae said no problem with traveling (our coming China trip is a GO!) and no problem carrying Chloe, although can be minimized as much as possible :)
We're in great joy. And I feel really blessed. I'm going to the temple to pray tomorrow :)
And oh, Chloe finally met Dr Adrian today!

Can't Wait For Tomorrow!
Tomorrow I'd be seeing my gynae to confirm this pregnancy. I wish hours would just fly away where I'm now sitting at his clinic already! I just can't wait to find out how many weeks I am in now? When I am due? Hope baby is growing well within me.
Hubby predicts that I'm only in my first month. But the symptoms I'm going through right now makes me feel I'm on my second, if not third! (if that possible??).
Morning sickness on and off throughout the day. Tuesday was kinda bad. Yesterday was pretty fine. And today, I'm starting to feel hungry all the time!
I have urge to eat.. everything! Once I ignore the hunger, I started to get dizzy, I get headache, and I feel so bloated with lotsa gas inside me.. And I may just merlion anytime! Phew..

Making Pistachio Mini Bites
The Pistachio Bites recipe that was shared by Hallan was left untouched for a few months.
I was totally in the mood last Friday and quickly took Chloe to Cold Storage to buy all the ingredients, before the momentum fade away...
But too bad the base was too wet. I should have mixed it with more biscuits crumbs before coating the chocolate. :(

RSF Paintball Game // 848 coffeeshop
Hubby met the RSeriesans for some paintball actions at Bottle Tree Park, Yishun last Sunday. Me and Chloe only got to join after they finished the game. Here are some pictures taken at 848 coffeeshop where the gang replenished themselves with lotsa food and 100 Plus! :)
