Fun Photoshoot at Joyce's

Chloe had her first studio shot at Joyce's on Saturday. It turned out to be a fun fun session for her, and even the parents too.

The MKJ Photography is home-based studio photography by Joyce, a SAHM with 3 boys! Talk about a mother instinct on getting good portraits of your child. And lots of toys (and finger food) to keep Chloe occupied. Before she could even cry, she warmed up pretty soon. As comfortable as being at our own home.

I'm so much looking forward on the outcome now! And I'm confident on her skills :)

Home Sweet Home!!

••• Welcome Home!! •••

Happy Again!!

I'm back to my-self again. Happy that hubby is coming home tonight from Myanmar. His trip is shorter than ever these days. From 1-week, 4-day to only 3-day-trip. But I must admit I miss him even more! >.<

Let's hope he brings some presents back for me and Chloe hehe :)

Upgraded and Improved

Her self-feeding has improved to one-hand operation now!

And sometimes playing with the bottles, drinking on and off, if she's not that hungry....

Big Foot

We bought her first pair of shoes last weekend. Baby Pooh shoes size 5!!

Written on its box, size 5 caters for baby 2-2.5 yrs old (15.5 cm)
I hope that's not too accurate! -__-|||

Caught In Action: Pacifier Cap

Caught In Action: Diaper Bag

What's Going On?

Today I find myself acting weird. I've been moody. Be it at work or at home.
Work is never ending with chapters and chapters of manuscripts. It is really annoying to have a colleague sitting next to me who burps zillion times a day without saying 'Excuse Me'. And I got headache when another colleague playing hard rock music on his speaker, where he should be using his headphone. Geez.

Upon reaching home, I got to play with Chloe for brief 30 minutes. Her nose was wet again. She slept right away after her milk feed at 7.45. I've been doing stuff half the pace I usually do. I stone a lot in front of the computer. Even my past time favourite, blogging. When I thought I should be blogging the whole night, I actually ended up stuck with this post for the longest time.

Something is missing...

10 More Mins

10 more minutes to the end of the office hour.

I'm bored and I'm feeling so restless!!

Bleah!! I wanna go home!!!!!

Fall 2008

What is the IN look for Fall 2008?

Off-shoulder top, just right amount to show off the smooth skin

Standing hair!

Try to shake a little, make sure they stay that way...

And yeah, you're so ready to rock n roll now!!

Quickie!

Hello! Haven't been updating recently. The weekend was spent nursing both babies. But we still managed to go out shopping despite Chloe having slight flu, and hubby's recovered vision.

I'm currently busy preparing for our trip to Medan next month. Also a photoshoot this weekend. I hope everything will turn out well. Most importantly, a cooperative baby.

During the weekend, we have witnessed all sorts of patterns from Chloe. Pattern more than badminton! She cheered, giggled, shouted, called out Ah Ba (鸭肉), cried, wailed her way out, tumbled, stomped feet, rolled eyes, showed anger, 顶嘴 by Wa! Ah! Ah! AHHHHH!

And many more...

I wonder where she learnt all the mischievous acts from? -_-|||

Chloe and Papa

Lonely Friday

A lonely Friday. Both my darlings had turned in early. One gotta rest his eyes. The other baby had drowsy effect from her flu medicine...

My Two Dearest

Hubby went for his lasik op yesterday at Paragon. He spent total 11 hours (11am-10pm) of waiting and wandering for the eye examination and operation. The clinic is packed even at 8pm. I went to accompany him after work last night. I'm glad I did.

The media always describe lasik as an easy, brief 15-min task for patients. But I didn't see it that way. I was more worried that I might seemed. Seeing him having eyes discomfort after op, then still got to queue at the stagnant taxi queue with that two lens protector on his eyes.

Phew... I'm glad he's feeling better now. And already telling me how he can clearly see the car plate from our 2nd-floor-flat without wearing glasses.

Whoa! So lasik is indeed an easy and quick relief! Having said that, I'm still quite 'chicken' to opt for it. I guess I'll trust my daily lenses for a couple more years :)

It's not a very good day for Chloe though. Her sleep was troubled by some thick mucus in her nose. This morning she woke up with runny nose. I don't know what's went wrong. She was fine the previous night. MIL has brought her to see GP this morning. Let's hope she gets well soon so we could enjoy more quality time this weekend.

Have Some Women-ly Laugh!!

PREGNANCY Q & A & more!

Q: Should I have a baby after 35?
A: No, 35 children is enough.

Q : I'm two months pregnant now. When will my baby move?
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.

Q : What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A: Childbirth.

Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
A: So what's your question?

Q : My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.

Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.

Q : Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my wife is in labor?
A: Not unless the word 'alimony' means anything to you.

Q: Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from childbirth?
A: Yes, pregnancy.

Q : Do I have to have a baby shower?
A: Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.

Q : Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and act normal again?
A: When the kids are in college.

Notti Gal!

Chloe enters a new phase where she refuses to sleep. Have been getting complaints from the in-laws that it's so difficult to coax her to sleep during daytime. I thought that was usual complaints. She merely naps for 1-2 hour during weekdays.

OK. So hubby and I FELT it last night.

Chloe slept soundly from 8pm. Then when we entered the room to sleep at about 12am, she started to wriggle, flipping and ta-da! sitting up giving us a cheeky smile.

That's unusual! Normally she would keep on wriggling, turning, flipping and making lots of noise which I decoded as, "I want my milk milk..."

I had all lights off and let her fed herself later on, hoping she could get back to sleep soon after. I didn't even bother to rinse the bottle after she finished, not to create any extra attention from her. So the usual bum-patting started rightafter. pat, pat, pat... then I fell asleep...zzzz.. then came a hi-pitch laugh.. and a smack on my face.

*ouch*

Chloe was standing up, stomping and drumming excitedly on my fat belly. Never seen her so energetic at that wee hour. All attempts from 12.30-1.30 failed to get her to sleep. At one point, we put her to the playpen and hoped she could be worn out and sleep by her own.

My wishful thinking... our brains were half-way to the dreamland. What can you expect? :P

Then she enjoyed 15-mins on her own in the playpen, standing, bouncing, cheering, giggling. She even let out a loud "Ba Ba", the word she hasn't said for a week plus. Hubby took over the coaxing mission after he heard the magic word. Wow, thankfully, she didn't surprise me by letting out "Ma Ma".

So this morning hubby was telling me how he put Chloe to sleep. 30 mins of dancing, ooops I mean rocking the little one. That's about 2 am.

Now I want my beauty sleep. I hope Chloe doesn't perform the same act again tonight, tomorrow night and on any night. Baby should guai guai sleep at night, best is sleeping through the night. Hmph!
