I miss...

• going to the cinema for movies, plus the popcorn
• relaxing coffee session at the Starbucks
• savouring each bite of sinful cheese cake
• shopping with the girls
• my old jeans
• my monthly FACIAL

The things i miss list could go on and on, yet I still love every moment in my life now, except for work.

Love the moments when I:
• feed and burp Chloe
• play and take pics with her
• change, clean up and bath her
• sway and settle her to sleep
• find new ways to amuse her
• see new milestones she makes

Being a mother changes so many things in life. Priorities, schedules, concerns, almost everything...

I love changes, they are inevitable and the most constant thing in life.

What comes next? Can't wait for it!

SAHM wannabe...

Bored at work. Missing the loved ones. Wanting to go home. This is one of my past time favourites at work... playing with chloe....'s photos

It's the same old grumble again, "How i wish i could just quit and become a full time mum aka SAHM." How cool...

To those are not familiar with mummy/auntie term, SAHM is Stay At Home Mum..

Hopeless me.

Chloe and Ambitious Papa!

Papa taught Chloe how to do a few steps, when Chloe has just learned how to turn. Ambitious and aggressive i must say!

By the way, I learned something after taking this video. That i should never take video in a vertical way. There is no rotate button for video file. How stupid i am! Bleah...

Chloe has turned by herself!

At 4 months and 2-day-old, she turned yesterday by herself!

This was her failed attempts a day before...

And finally...

By the way, Chloe weighs 6.985 at 4 months.

Another year has passed!

Didn't want to fill the title with OBVIOUS sentence like 'Happy Birthday to myself!', or 'I'm 26!!!!' Geez.. Time really flies! I'm indeed getting old.. Phew...

I notice as I get older, I don't care much for birthday celebration anymore. This is so far the simplest birthday ever. The most forgettable one. Priorities and perceptions towards life have changed so much. My life now revolves around Chloe, Chloe and Chloe only. Am I being too ignorant towards myself, or that's just the way it is?

I even had my birthday song sung, cake cut 3 days before. I told hubby, "I don't want to fall into V-day trap. Traffic is bad. Queue is everywhere. Everything is expensive. Hence we celebrated early.

There were no candles either! No, not that I hate to be reminded on my age, we just couldn't find any lighter or matches at home. Ha! No presents. The new house is the big present. (How easily contented I am..) There were much love and warmth while hubby singing the birthday song, with Chloe in my arm..

Check out Chloe drooling over my cake!

As for this morning when we were on our way to MIL's place, she split out some milk to my shirt. That's must be her little present for me.

So much for love!

Anyway, happy birthday to me (whispering very softly...)

Little update: Another birthday cake cut during the weekend. Thanks to Cheryl and Amelia for the surprise!

Chloe is...

doing it again! She can't seem to let go of her fist! And now she starts to grasp all stuff around her, which includes my hair..

Her attention was diverted when she noticed I was taking her photos. That's my girl! :)

Waving Goodbye To The Year of Pig

I'm unwilling to let the year end just yet.

Call me an old-fashioned, but I am a believer to the traditions that we can't owe anything to the others. As well as leave anything unsettled or undone to the coming year.

Less than 36 hours to the year of rat (lunar calendar), I have a few MUST do lists in the year of PIG:
- Back up all photos files
- Check (and hoping to strike) 4D and Toto results
- Pay credit cards bills
- Send letters out
- Clean up the whole house, change bedsheets, do more laundry if time permits
- Prepare red packets T_T

So much to do, so little time.. And I'm still caught up racing my pet at (fluff) friends. Ouch!

Chloe giggles

Chloe has started to laugh out loud for a week now. Few things that make her burst into laughter are:
1. Holding her right upwards and let her stand on my laps.
2. Tickle her with lots of love and kisses on her cheek enhance the quality of the sound. Ha ha!
3. Carry her to our bedroom and show her our wedding picture on the wall.
4. Do funny crappy sounds to stimulate her.
5. Plus this, looking herself at the mirror!

Love her much!

2. Associate you with something - a song, a colour, a photo, a word, a smell, etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favourite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your blog.

Happy Chloe Go Lucky!!

That's our Chloe during the housewarming, 27th Jan 2008.

Life on our own

Moving house is certainly not an easy task. First the reno works, then the stuff packing, comes the transport to move those barang-barang. The official/auspicious move-in day, the tidying and cleaning up. The housewarming. The wrapping up of reno works by the contractor (I bet now he is at my house rectifying some final faulties and malfunctions.)

A week after moved into our own place, these are the after-effects scenarios:
- Boxes and luggages still unpacked, squashed inside the store room
- Unorganized housewarming gifts left on the floor, inside the 3rd room
- New letters, receipts, documents are all over the places
- Laundry undone

I certainly need more time to clean up and adjust. New house, new routine, new schedule for us and also baby Chloe. With Chinese New Year around the corner, I need a miracle again.

Despite all, I am glad we finally made it. A house, a home by ourselves.
