Week 23

What about the mummy? Mummy is glowing as Chloe is kicking more prominently these days. Yesterday I finally managed to 'catch' her kick. Felt it directly on my palm. My hand bounced when she kicked! I can't wait to 'see' her kick now.. I want to see the wave on my belly from one side to another :)

Music and Lyrics

Watched Music and Lyrics DVD over the weekend. It's been some time since i last watched a romantic comedy as nice as this. Maybe since 50 First Dates? or The Holiday?

What first attracts me to watch this show is of course Hugh Grant :) and the fact that it resolves around music and lyrics! But the show turned out to be more than i expected. Sweet, funny, smooth and most importantly, something i can very much relate to!

Best line i love (quoted by Drew Barrymore) from the movie is:
Music or melody is the physical attraction or sex; while
Lyrics is the insight after you get to know the other person deeper

Not forgetting the cheesy 80s music performed by Hugh Grant (and his hot hip moves!) also the main song composed by Hugh and Drew in the movie, Way Back Into Love (the lyrics is beautiful!) Check out the lyrics below..

New Home for my Private Photos

Wah-hey... It only took 24 hours for Yahoo! to move my 1,315 photos to Flickr.
And they are giving me the free trial of Pro account for 3 months..
Tsk tsk.. i wonder if i will succumb to the offer after it expires!
I've got until 14th Sept to consider it. Ergh.. very tempting shiah.. Have been thinking to upgrade my other account too the other day. More over, this is the home of all my collection...

USD 24.95 per year for renewal. How, what'dya think?

Closing down of Yahoo! Photos

For those of you that are not aware yet, Yahoo! Photos is closing down for good, on September 20, 2007 (That's another 99 days from now)

As a user since college days, i have quite a number of private photo collection uploaded there. Now that i have to move those pics to another home. Yahoo! claims that they'll ease the moving if i'm to transfer them to Flickr as it's also the creation of Yahoo! Well i haven't tried it just yet. Maybe i should create another new account so that i won't mix my general shots with these private photos :)

End note: Indeed it's an easy process of moving from Yahoo! Photos to Flickr. All i did was to confirm a few account names, a few clicks. The rest will be taken care of. And i'll receive an email to notify the completion of the moving. How cool is that :) Oh i love Flickr!

Week 21 and counting...

Have been quite vain lately after knowing the gender of my baby..
I perk myself up by putting back the make up that 'almost' starts collecting dust in the shelves..
I keep on wondering will my baby girl look more like me or my hubby?
Either way, we both have to look good enough for her to take our good features haha!

It's a girl!!

Went for my detailed scan yesterday at week 20.

Sonographer asked: "Do u both intend to find out the sex of the baby?"
I nodded hard: "Yes!" (in my mind thinking, yes pls, go ahead and announce it loud about my prince)
Sonographer: "GIRL"
Me: "Huh?"
Sonographer: "It's a girl"
Me: "Looking at hubby with mixed feelings..."

Well well, after putting quite high hope on having a boy, i'd be lying if i say i wasn't disappointed.

Happy to see my princess is doing well though. Everything look normal from the scan, except that she's a bit big considered for bb at week 20. I've also gained too much for the past month, 4.5 kg.. geez.. Think i have to control my intake now..

Also to-do-list for me now is to buy PINK stuff for my baby. Start looking around for baby products. Looking at nice baby girl pics, they say this will help to enhance your baby feature :)

And, we have decided to name her CHLOE :)

There goes my dream house

Ok.. it's more like my dream flat.

After been waiting for about 4 months, so disappointed to learn that the owner needs another 3 year to sell her flat to us!!
Said she has just bought a new bungalow which needs 3 years to be completed. So she gotta postpone the selling..

Though it's not a 'dream' dream house like pictured below... but it's the best that fits hubby and my requirements in the past one year.

A flat that is near to the inlaw (for obvious reasons, taking care of baby, and the meal provider :P). This one is just 8 floors apart!! Flat that is high floor. On the plus side, it has the pool view right from the master bedroom!! How romantic!! Though it's just a public swimming pool across the street, hey, what beats a FREE view??

Duh.. the more i write, the more disappointed i am..

Now has to go back to square one, start contacting our house agent, go for house viewing, provided we find something we like~~


I won't stop telling myself.. maybe this is blessing in disguise, maybe this waiting game will lead to some good find in the end of the day. Say maybe we're striking toto soon? so i can get my dream house??

A Year after ROM

I get so excited about today as it's officially been a year after our Registration of Marriage (ROM). Though hubby is down with flu and hence all plans HAVE to be postponed. But it really warms my heart to start the day!

I'd always like to remind myself on how lucky I am to be married to him (ah so mushy)..
It didn't take long for us to tie down the knot.

Here is the highlight of our milestones!
We started to get to know each other 1st Jan 2006 via the net.
We first talked on the phone on the 4th Jan.
We first (casually) met on the 5th Jan.
We first (officially) dated on the 7th Jan. Ta-da, we officially became an item.. :)

He (casually) mentioned about marriage in March 2006.
We flew back to Indonesia in April to get 'approval' from my parents.
He (officially) proposed on the 2006.05.04. time 1:02:03 am (yah that makes the 1.2.3.4.5.6 memorable!)

We registered our marriage on the 1st of June 2006.
We held our customary on the 20th of January 2007.

There you go...For people who do not know us well might think that we're some love desperados that can't wait to start a family :P Anyway.. those are such memory-testing!! But certainly bring back all the sweet memories.. Maybe this post is useful in the future to remind myself on our journey!
